Story
Dear Family & Friends
As many of you know, I am taking part in a long distance charity walk to raise awareness around First Responder Mental Health and Wellbeing, including suicide, post traumatic stress disorder and premature mortality.
The walk is known as the 'Heart2Heart Walk' from Lambert's Centre of Australia in the Northern Territory (Heart of Country) to the Australian Parliament House in Canberra (Heart of Nation). The walk began on 1 July 2023 and will conclude on 28 September 2023 covering a distance of nearly 3000km. More details on the walk can be found at www.heart2heartwalk.org
The cause is close to my heart and with your help, I will be able to reach my fundraising goal of $9000. Please support my cause by making an online donation. National Heart2Heart Foundation Limited
The Heart2Heart Foundation has been established in order to provide a national voice to provide further collaborative support to Australia’s Emergency Services Personal, often referred to as ‘First Responder’s’, their families, and those that have proudly served this nation in the past. The Foundation has evolved out of the Heart2Heart Walk, when it was identified that the objectives of the walk were just the beginning, and much work would be required post the completion of this walk.
